Today I had the good fortune of speaking with friend and former colleague Regina McMichael, Keynote Speaker and Guru, as we discussed the talk I am giving at the National Ergonomics Conference & Exposition (NECE) in Las Vegas on August 22.
It is exciting, as I will be among the very first people to present the details of the newly published and soon to be implemented Cal/OSHA Hotel Housekeeper Musculoskeletal Injury Prevention Program (MIPP) Standard at an Ergonomics conference.
This effort to protect some of the hardest-working people in the country is important, and I have spent nearly my entire professional career doing my utmost to help protect the health and safety of people around the world. The talk will address head-on the why, who, what, when, where, and how of the Standard. But rest assured, no one, whether hotel company or housekeeper, will have to do this alone.
